Members overview

A Coolify team groups the people, resources, and settings they work with. Each person can belong to more than one team and can have a different role in each team.

The short version

Select the team you want to work with before changing its members. Owners and administrators can invite people, change other members' roles, revoke pending invitations, and remove members.

How team membership works

Coolify uses the active team as the boundary for dashboard work. Projects, servers, shared variables, credentials, notification settings, and other team-owned resources shown in the dashboard belong to that team.

When you switch teams, Coolify changes the resources and settings available in the dashboard. Your role is also evaluated for the newly active team.

Removing someone from a team removes their access to that team. It does not delete their Coolify account, their membership in other teams, or resources owned by the team.

Identify your team

Owners and Admins can open Team > General to change the team name, description, and avatar. Under Avatar, select Browse… and choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP image. Coolify crops it to a square and compresses it before upload. The avatar appears in the team switcher. Select Remove to return to the default team avatar.

Team avatars use the instance's configured Image storage. Check the active team before uploading an image or changing its details.

What the Members page shows

Open Team in the Coolify sidebar, then select Members.

The member list shows each person's name, email address, role in the active team, and the actions available to you. Owners and administrators also see the invitation form and any pending invitations.

Coolify marks your own row with You. You cannot change your own role or remove yourself from this page.
