# Delete Destination

Source: https://next.coolify.io/docs/core/networking/destinations/delete

Deleting a standalone Docker destination removes the destination from Coolify and removes its Docker network from the server. The default `coolify` destination cannot be deleted from the dashboard.

## Before you delete

Open the destination and select **Resources**. Review every application, database, and service listed on the page.

For each resource you want to keep:

* back up its database and persistent-storage data
* recreate or clone the resource to another destination
* restore or migrate its data separately because cloning copies configuration only

> **Error: Remove every resource first**
>
> Deleting a Docker network can interrupt containers that still use it. Continue only after **Resources** shows **No resources are using this destination**.

## Delete the destination

### Open the destination

1. Select **Destinations** in the Coolify sidebar.
2. Select the destination you want to delete.
3. Open **Danger Zone**.

### Confirm the deletion

1. Select **Delete destination**.
2. Review the deletion action.
3. Enter the destination name exactly as shown.
4. Select **Permanently Delete**.

Coolify disconnects the Coolify Proxy from the network, removes the Docker network from the server, and removes the destination from Coolify.

### Verify the deletion

Open the global or server-specific **Destinations** page and confirm that the deleted destination no longer appears.

## If you need the destination again

There is no restore action for a deleted destination. Follow [Create a Destination](https://next.coolify.io/docs/core/networking/destinations/create), then redeploy or restore each resource separately.
